ESMOND BRADY OF ATLANTA GEORGIA (1894-1961)

Esmond Brady was a wealthy Atlanta socialite who spend much of his time cruising.  He was a close friend of my grandparents Rary and Trot Foreman, and I knew him as "Uncle Ezzie."  Dapper, handsome, and Catholic,  he was granted an audience with Pope Pius XII in June, 1939.

Upon Ezzie's death, he bequeathed all of his money to Catholic Charities including  the donation of a Chapel to Atlanta's Marist College, his alma mater.
More about Ezzie's family can be read in this obituary of his mother, from December 24, 1938.
