"ITALIAN GIRL IN ALGIERS" PROGRAM BOOK, AUGUSTA (GA) OPERA 1977
This excellent production of Rossini's comic opera was presented (in English) by Impresario Ed Bradberry for the spring tour of the Augusta Opera Company. Two weeks of rehearsal were held in Augusta, Georgia culminating in three weeks of performances from February 26 until March 18, 1977, with tour stops as listed within the program book. The principals included Charlestonian June Bonner and Augustan Michael Harrison, and the opera was conducted by Norman Johnson of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
